Joanna McKethan

Joanna McKethan lives on land bordering the Cape Fear River, a descendant of a Scottish Highlanders' exodus in the 1700's. She never parted from her family property even when living nine years in Germany and Austria among their people. Her gothic romantic suspenses draw on experience both home and traveling over East and Western Europe. Her husband Sandy, a linguist in Russian, German, and French helps keeps her facts straight. She has a painting studio in town where she teaches. At home she and hubby enjoy strolls with their walk-up rescue dog Prinz, birdwatching, and seeing deer and occasional snakes wander up from the river. Also enjoying NC's dramatic thunderstorms.
